Had to find a walkthrough to solve this, you need to click on a very specific spot on the tire swing to find a key, also, the screwdriver is meant to be used in the shed. I don't like these challenges very much...

The game can be fun, but the fact that a mere slip-up can undo so much effort put into a level kinda ruins some of the fun. Here's some changes that can be really useful:
Dialogue Box Speed: Text should reveal faster! Also, tapping the interact key should be made more obvious for signs (and tapping it should just immediately make the text appear) Also, there's so much more room you could take up with the dialogue! Just showing 1 line is a waste when you have room for 2-3 lines!
Respawn mechanics: Instead of death resetting the level, the player mushroom just immediately respawns, additionally, this can help implement checkpoint mechanics into the game to spice up future levels
Camera Panning: In order for me to understand what I am doing, I needed to move my shrooms to opposite ends of the screen to read the level, if I can just move the camera, it would make planning so much easier.
Level Select: IDK what level number I gave up on, so it would be nice to know my progress
Audio improvements: I want SFX so I feel like the game is properly reacting to my input, I also want more variety in the BGM (plus a way to disable it cause it can get tiresome listening to the same track on loop)
Level readability: Background tiles make it hard to tell what is ground and what is not
Implement these changes and I'll provide those 2 missing stars.
It was a bit of fun, but seriously needs better weapon selection and I HATE the bomb timing puzzles
Game seems fun but holy shit I got ZERO rhythm...
Fun story, but it would have been nice to have known that I should have saved (or the game autosaved) before I finished the ancient coin quest, so much progress, lost...
This game is pretty fun, but it could be a lot more fun if there was no friction while running against walls...
Could be fun if I knew what I was doing, and the wolf encounter is impossible when you run out of knives.
It won't appear if you don't have at least a few knives, but I will increase the threshold for it to appear so newer players don't have to worry about supplies that early on. (Already updated.)

Seems like it could be fun, but it is deafeningly quiet
Thank you! Unfortunately I'm already aware of the problem and I'm trying to fix it but the thing is that I use an emulator to run it on HTML5 and probably there's some problem with booting on Newgrounds, this doesn't happen on the itch page, you can play it with audio there (find the link in the description), by the way you can also download the ROM to be able to play on emulators, on NES with flashcard, NES mini and other things
Edit: the audio problem has been solved!
